David Patrikarakos
is a British journalist and war correspondent.
He is the author of the book War in 140 Characters: How Social Media is Reshaping Conflict in the Twenty-First Century, which explores the impact of social media on conflicts in Ukraine and Palestine. The Ukrainian translation of the book was published by Yakaboo Publishing. Patrikarakos is an expert on conflicts in the Middle East and Iranian politics. He has lectured on disinformation at the United States Military Academy and the British Army’s General Staff. Additionally, he has taught at Harvard, Yale, Oxford, the London School of Economics, King’s College, and other universities. Patrikarakos contributes to British and American media outlets, particularly on the topic of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
