Veronika Víchová
is a CIS analyst who focuses on disinformation in Central Europe.
She holds a Master's degree in European Studies and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and European Studies from Masaryk University in Brno. In 2014, Veronika started her professional journey at the European Values Center for Security Policy, where she led the "Kremlin Watch" program, which focused on monitoring and countering disinformation. In 2017, Veronika participated in the Transatlantic Fellowship program in Washington DC and worked briefly with the office of US Senator Robert Portman. Her second visit to the US in 2019 was part of the Digital Communications Network exchange program. She later served as Deputy Director for Analytics. In 2023, she co-founded the Center for an Informed Society as an analyst, where she is now responsible for the "Resilience in the Infosphere" initiative, focusing on challenges and solutions related to disinformation.
