Yurii Vovkohon
is a culture manager and author of texts and art projects.
Currently, he serves as the manager of veteran projects at YMCA Lviv. Previously, he held positions such as press secretary of the Dzyga Art Association and coordinator of various festivals including Jazz Bez, Lviv Flugers, and Fort.Missia, as well as the Contemporary Art Week Biennale.Yurii also manages projects like the Opera-Myth “Ukraine — Terra Incognita” and the documentary film “Vypchyna: The Village of One Day.”
Yurii served in the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps from 2014 to 2015 and later served in the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 2022 to 2023, during which he was wounded while defending Lysychansk.
