Over the past six years, she has mapped and analyzed the best and worst digital communities on Danish social media, including 9,000 citizen-led Facebook groups. She has led two national projects examining verbal attacks and hate speech in the digital public sphere. Using custom AI, her team has studied all posts and comments from the Facebook pages of Danish media and politicians between 2019 and 2024. This work sheds light on the attackers, the victims, and the dynamics shaping these platforms.
