СЕО at the Center for Civil Liberties; human rights defender

Oleksandra studied at the University of Economics and Law KROK in Kyiv, earning a Master’s degree in International Economics from the Faculty of International Relations. A few years later, she obtained a second Master’s degree in Project Management. In late 2021, she earned a Master’s degree in Conflict Management and Mediation.

Since May 2014, she has built her career as a human rights defender at the Center for Civil Liberties (CCL). Her first project focused on monitoring and documenting human rights violations and political persecution in Russian-occupied Crimea.

Since September 2017, she has served as Executive Director of the Center for Civil Liberties. Following Russia’s full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, she has also led efforts to document war crimes and advocate for justice through the global initiative Tribunal for Putin. Oleksandra actively participates in field missions in the Kyiv region.
