Angelina Kariakina
Journalist and media manager
She co-founded the Public Interest Journalism Lab and works as an editor and author for The Reckoning Project films. Her reporting for Euronews covered the Revolution of Dignity and Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine. She honed her skills at Serhiy Bukovsky’s directing workshop. In 2015, she began working with Hromadske as a journalist and host, later producing the documentary series Tracing the Revolution about the Maidan events, and A Stage Across Half the World on the Sentsov-Kolchenko case. She went on to serve as Hromadske’s editor-in-chief for three years. Between 2020 and 2022, she helped build Suspilne’s multimedia news service, first as editor-in-chief and then as chief producer of news programming.
