Alexandre is a legal advisor on investigation and case building at Partnership Fund for Resilient Ukraine. Aa a UK barrister specialising in international criminal law, human rights, anti-corruption and sanctions, he’s the co-founder of Artemis Chambers (London) and co-executive director of the non-profit State Capture Accountability Project (The Hague).
Alex advises and represents individuals, groups, organisations and public bodies on matters before international courts and tribunals, UN mechanisms, INTERPOL, sanctioning authorities and the courts of England and Wales. He also regularly advises government agencies and civil society organisations on investigations, case building and policy. Since 2014, Alex has represented Ukrainian victims before the International Criminal Court and the European Court of Human Rights. He also defended Mr. Al Hassan at the ICC in a case centered on cultural heritage crimes and religious persecution.
Alex holds an LLB with European Legal Studies from King's College London and the University of Strasbourg, and an LLM in Public International Law from the London School of Economics.
