DvaTry is a Kyiv-based band dedicated to researching and performing traditional dance music from the Naddniprianshchyna and Polissia regions, including kozachky, polkas, and waltzes. They are joined by Symonenko, a Luhansk-born, Kyiv-based multi-instrumentalist and curator of the Disk_D label, who has been a staple of the city’s electronic scene since 2017.

The duo formed through CMYK, a project that bridges authentic folklore with modern electronics. After decades of industrialization and Russian cultural suppression, many Ukrainians have lost touch with their musical roots. By weaving tradition into electronic music and cinema, CMYK creates a space for audiences to rediscover their heritage in a contemporary context – without losing its original essence.
