Harun Karčić
Harun Karčić is a Bosnian journalist, analyst, and former executive producer at Al Jazeera Balkans specializing in geopolitics, foreign influence, and security dynamics in the Western Balkans. He has reported extensively on political Islam, radicalization, and great-power competition in Southeast Europe, with his work featured by major international outlets and research institutes.
Harun is also the co-founder and Vice Chairman of the Sarajevo Security Conference and a Non-Resident Senior Fellow with the New Lines Institute. His forthcoming book, Balkan Muslims and the Middle East (Bloomsbury, 2025), examines the historical and contemporary ties between the two regions.
