Daryna Pidhorna
Legal Analyst at the Rafael Lemkin Society
Daryna Pidhorna is a legal analyst with over five years of experience in international humanitarian and criminal law. Her work centers on protecting cultural heritage in armed conflict and addresses broader issues of memory, the right to truth, and transitional justice. She is currently a Legal Analyst at the Rafael Lemkin Society, where she develops recommendations to strengthen heritage protection and bring Ukrainian legislation in line with international standards.
Daryna also contributes to international justice efforts, including legal work related to the International Criminal Court. Previously, she was a Senior Lawyer at the Regional Center for Human Rights, where she co-led initiatives such as developing a database to document crimes against cultural heritage. She is an active member of the Crimea Platform Expert Network and regularly leads workshops on post-conflict recovery and victim-centered approaches.
