Olga Rudenko
Editor-in-chief and Co-founder of The Kyiv Independent
Olga Rudenko is the editor-in-chief and co-founder of The Kyiv Independent. A two-time finalist for the George Gongadze Prize (2024 and 2025), she has earned significant international acclaim for her leadership in journalism. Her honors include the Women of Europe Award in the “Woman in Action” category and the Freedom Fighter Award from the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA). In May 2022, Olga’s impact was recognized globally when she was featured on the cover of Time magazine as part of their “Next Generation Leaders” series.
