Igor Blaževič
Founder and former director of One World
Igor Blažević is a human rights campaigner and democracy educator of Bosnian origin, based in the Czech Republic. He is the founder and former director of One World — Europe’s largest human rights documentary film festival — which he led from 1998 to 2010. For 17 years, he worked with People in Need, contributing to humanitarian operations in conflict zones before serving as Director of the Human Rights and Democracy Department. Currently, he is a Senior Advisor at the Prague Civil Society Centre and a lecturer for training programs supporting activists from Myanmar.
